Our Health Alliance links you to reliable health information about health concerns of Portland area African and African-American Communities. This site can help you find medical and dental clinics. It can link you to local and national health organizations that can give you additional information and support.

Our health concerns list is not intended to be exhaustive — it focuses on topics that are of particular concern to African-Americans and Africans. The articles come from Medline Plus, created by the National Library of Medicine, and the CDC.

Our Other Resources directories connect you with local and national organizations addressing the topics included in our health concerns list.

Our Health Alliance strongly believes that with access to information, our communities can make tremendous strides in taking ownership of our own health by building our health knowledge and improving disease prevention through proper exercise and eating right.

If you are having a health emergency right now, please Dial 9-1-1   If you or someone else has been poisoned, please call the Poison Help Line at 1-800-222-1222.
